Veligallu Dam, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh
One of the fastest-built concrete dams in India, the Veligallu Dam in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh was completed in a single working season.
Sulwade Barrage, Maharashtra
For the Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, the Sulwade Barrage spanning the river Tapi was built in 3 years (April 1999 to March 2002), 4 years earlier than the planned 7 years. Additionally, Rajkamal Builders completed the 7,000 MT of hydro-mechanical work for the barrage in record time, winning it a gold medal from the Maharashtra government.
Gambhir Dam, Madhya Pradesh
The 33-meter-high concrete dam across the river Gambhir in Madhya Pradesh, close to the historic city of Ujjain, was finished in a record-breaking seven months. The "Simhastha Mela," which is held only once every twelve years, depended on the building of this dam. In 1992, the then-Indian Prime Minister gave Rajkamal Builders a scroll of honor and a souvenir as a token of his thanks.
Tawa Hydroelectric Project, Madhya Pradesh
In 23 months, from February 1995 to December 1996, the civil and hydro-mechanical construction of the two 6.75 MW Tawa Hydroelectric Project near Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, was finished. This allowed for the project's commissioning, testing, and commercial power production. The first power project to be finished so quickly is this one.
Omkareshwar Aqueduct, Madhya Pradesh
The company entered into a joint venture and successfully completed the design and construction of a road bridge cum aqueduct spanning the river Narmada with a length of 1.5 km and a discharge of 115 cumecs for Omkareshwar Multi Purpose Project in Madhya Pradesh. In 2004, the task of installing well foundations beneath piers for 60 spans of 25 m length each was finished.
Rudri Barrage, Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, the New Rudri Barrage across the Mahanadi River was built in under two working seasons. According to reports, this barrage was built the fastest in the nation. The then-Union Water Resources Minister honored Rajkamal Builders with a scroll of honor for this outstanding accomplishment in 1993.Get in Touch
